2024

Bunty Bavishi reflects on 2024, a year filled with lessons, opportunities, and personal growth—a journey for which he is deeply grateful.

JANUARY:

         The year began with the launch of his personal website, meticulously crafted to serve as a platform for sharing his journey and ideas. This milestone was the result of years of asset curation and a clear vision to connect with a wider audience.

​

FEBRUARY:

               A brief yet memorable weekend in Amsterdam marked an emotional reunion with his sister, Khyati Bavishi, after five years, alongside meeting her fiancé, Siddhant Naik, for the first time. This trip was enriched by exploring the Netherlands' deeply rooted electronic music culture.

MARCH and APRIL:

           Bunty Bavishi had the privilege of gaining hands-on insights into the installation of the Solid State Logic Origin mixing desk at Point Blank Music School. This experience deepened his understanding of studio infrastructure and advanced audio equipment. Brands include Adam Monitors, Yamaha, Argosy Consoles.

MAY:

    Bunty Bavishi is proud with the opportunity of his life to set up the DJ studio at the new pointblank Music School campus at Penn Street, London. A room full of 17 Pioneer DJ/Alphatheta products, setups include DJ players CDJ 3000, XDJ 1000MK2, DJS 1000. Turntables PLX 1000 and 500.

Mixers DJM A9, V10, 750 MK2. All in one controllers like the Opus Quad, XDJ-XZ, RX3. 

JUNE, JULY and SEPTEMBER:

The summer was defined by yet another professional milestones, including the critical task of preparing the brand-new pointblank Music School campus for its September launch. The campus features

13 state-of-the-art classroom studios, including:

  • Two Dolby Atmos mixing studios, equipped with SSL Duality and Origin consoles (48-channel and 32-channel).

  • A cutting-edge DJ studio, The PioneerDJ/Alphatheta sponsored. 

Production studios featuring Apple hardware and industry-standard software such as Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Native Instruments, Rekordbox, Serato DJ Pro, Waves, and Universal Audio.
This large-scale project provided invaluable experience in planning and operations, showcasing ability to manage intricate setups involving advanced audio-visual systems.

OCTOBER, NOVEMBER and DECEMBER. 

          Bunty Bavishi began laying the groundwork for "ENDURE," an ambitious project set to debut in 2025. Developing his detailed technical rider for live performances. Immersing himself in the live music industry, exploring innovative approaches to its challenges. Researching hardware synthesizers to complement the Roland TB-303, particularly focusing on bass and sub-bass frequencies. Notable considerations included the Moog Subharmonicon and Mother-32 for their iconic sound and ladder filters.​

 

​​LOOKING AHEAD TO 2025:
With the plans and practices of 2024 serving as a foundation, 2025 promises to be a year of action. Bunty Bavishi is committed to maintaining discipline and delivering more music while stepping into the spotlight with the support of his community.
